taintradio.org is a noncommercial venue for independent producers. We present music and music-related programming 24/7. Each program host is autonomous and presents only the music he/she wishes to present. Our audience is anyone who enjoys an eclectic and adventurous mix of music. taintradio is listener-supported but we don’t do on-air fundraising. Our listen button works for anyone with a high-speed broadband connection; our website has a tip jar to which we sincerely hope you will choose to contribute.

Currently our programs originate from Raleigh, Boston, NYC, Lansing, Winnipeg, Ann Arbor, Manchester [UK], New Haven, Amherst & Cambridge [MA]. Additional programs are in development from various locations throughout the world.

As unpaid volunteers, our primary expenses are music licensing and broadband costs, which are driven by the size of our audience. We have no interest in creating yet another organization that requires vast sums of financial support for its own sake. We just want to retain our independence, select and present music without regard to its alleged “commercial” appeal and pay the expenses we incur in the process. It’s that simple.
